Klare Kaufempfehlung.

How quickly can the sauna tent be set up?
The NORLIVA sauna tent sets up like a pop-up tent in just 1 to 2 minutes. Simply pull it apart, set up the frame, place and connect the stove—and you’re ready to go. The entire setup takes only about 5 minutes and requires no tools.
How long does it take for the tent to heat up?
After lighting the wood stove, it takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the outside temperature and wood quality, for the sauna to reach a comfortable operating temperature of 176°F to over 212°F.
How hot does it get in the sauna tent?
With good firewood and proper use, the sauna tent easily reaches temperatures over 100 °C. The insulation and double-walled stove ensure effective heat retention and distribution.
How can I control the temperature?
The temperature is controlled via the air supply on the stove. Additionally, you can regulate the heat inside by opening or closing the windows or the tent door.
Is the sauna tent safe?
Yes, when used properly, the sauna tent is absolutely safe. The oven gets very hot and should only be touched by the designated handle and only with heat protection gloves, e.g., when adding firewood. The tent material is flame-retardant and built to be robust. It’s important to set up on a stable, level surface and only use the oven with the chimney open.
Please note: Before first use, be sure to carefully read the safety instructions in the manual provided.
What material is the sauna tent made of?
The tent is constructed with three layers: the inside and outside are made of Oxford 420D fabric with a water-repellent and flame-retardant coating. In between is an insulating polyester layer. The windows are made of clear, flexible TPU plastic.
Can the sauna tent be left outdoors permanently?
Yes, the tent is designed for year-round outdoor use and withstands rain, snow, wind, and sun. Over time, UV exposure may cause some fading, but this does not affect functionality. If the sauna tent is left outdoors permanently, we recommend using a suitable rain cover, which is available directly from the Norliva shop. It withstands rain, snow, wind, and sun. Over time, UV exposure may cause some fading, but this does not affect functionality.
Do I need to burn in the stove?
Yes, before first use, the wood stove must be burned out outdoors to remove any manufacturing residues and odors. This process should never be done inside the tent.
Which fuels can I use?
It's important to use dry wood. Hardwoods like beech, oak, or maple are best, as they burn longer and hotter. Avoid damp or resinous wood.
Does the tent or stove emit any chemicals?
No. Once the stove has been properly burned in, it no longer releases harmful or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The tent is free from harmful emissions and is designed to be breathable.
Where can I set up the tent?
The NORLIVA sauna tent can be used flexibly – in your own backyard, at campsites, or out in nature. No building permit is required on private property. When using it in the wild, be sure to observe local regulations and nature conservation rules.
On what type of ground can I set up the tent?
Ideally, set up on a flat surface made of grass, wood, sand, or even ice. Sharp stones or uneven ground should be avoided to prevent injury and material damage.
Important: If placing on grass, a fireproof base should be laid under the oven's heat protection mat, otherwise the grass may show burn marks.
Is it normal for the stovepipe to glow?
Yes, that's completely normal and indicates strong heat generation. This does not affect the function or lifespan of the stove.
How do I care for the sauna tent?
The tent itself is low-maintenance. It’s enough to regularly clean the stove of ash and soot. After use, the tent should be stored dry to prevent mold from forming.
When can I pack up the sauna tent after use?
Once the stove has cooled down safely, the tent can be folded up again. The stove and chimney pipes should be completely cool before storing—no need for active cooling with water.
Does the tent fit in a car?
Yes, the tent and stove easily fit into most station wagons. For smaller vehicles, you may need to fold down the back seats.
