Was sollte ich vor der ersten Nutzung beachten?
Vor der ersten Verwendung das unbehandelte Buchenholz mehrere Stunden (ca. 3–6 Stunden) in kaltem Wasser wässern.
Das reduziert Spannungsrisse im Holz und sorgt für ein gleichmäßiges, schonendes Garen.
Wie lange dauert die Zubereitung von Flammlachs?
Je nach Hitze und Abstand zum Feuer beträgt die Garzeit in der Regel 30–60 Minuten.
Muss ich den Lachs wenden?
Nein, der Lachs wird einseitig gegart. Durch die indirekte Hitze gart er gleichmäßig von außen nach innen.
Welche Gewürze eignen sich für Flammlachs?
Am besten nur Salz, optional Pfeffer, Dill oder Zitrone. So bleibt der natürliche Geschmack des Fisches erhalten.
Wie erkenne ich, dass der Flammlachs fertig ist?
Der Lachs ist fertig, wenn er leicht glasig, saftig ist und außen knusprig wird. Er lässt sich dann mit der Gabel gut lösen.
Wie positioniere ich das Brett an der Feuerschale?
Das Flammlachsbrett wird mit der Edelstahlhalterung einfach am Rand der Feuerschale befestigt.
Der verstellbare Neigungswinkel erlaubt eine individuelle Anpassung des Abstands zur Flamme.
Das Brett kann von beiden Seiten in die Halterung gesteckt und während der Nutzung gewendet werden – für ein gleichmäßiges Garergebnis.
Wie pflege ich das Flammlachsbrett nach der Nutzung?
Nach dem Abkühlen das Brett nur mit Wasser reinigen, nicht einweichen oder spülen. Anschließend gut trocknen lassen.
Bitte trocken und geschützt lagern und das Holz nicht dauerhaft der Witterung aussetzen.

However, it’s important to note that after lighting the fire, it may take a few minutes for the airflow to fully develop and for the smoke to dissipate. During this initial phase, there may be some light smoke, but it will quickly subside once optimal airflow is achieved.
Which fuels can I use?
Wood or pellets can be used as fuel in the fire bowl. It is important that the wood is dry to prevent smoke. Hardwoods such as beech, oak, or maple are best, as they burn longer and hotter, which contributes to the efficiency of the smokeless fire bowl. Avoid damp or resin-rich wood.
How do I clean and maintain my smokeless fire pit?
Let the fire pit cool down completely before removing the ash. Regularly empty the ash pan and wipe the inner and outer bowl with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning agents to prevent damaging the surfaces.
